Location
This cave is at the northern end of Ao Railey East near the Diamond Cave Bungalows resort. The cave is managed by the National Park and the entry fee is 100 baht.
Description
It has been developed into a showcave with electric lighting and a concrete path with a resort and bar built near the entrance. The cave is probably a fossil resurgence. The entrance porch is 10 m wide by 10m high and is followed by a nice passage 2 to 5 m wide and 20 to 25 m high. After 60 m there is a passage coming in on the left with large, glittering gours. These were ascended, bare footed, by the SC Bellegarde who were stopped by a 4 m climb. Back in the main passage the way on narrows and after 30 m arrives at a large, decorated chamber where the tourist route stops. A climb of 4 m leads to an upper chmaber with many bats followed by an 8 m climb that can be bypassed by a passage on the left with two 4 m climbs. A 5 m chimney was not climbed and just before the end of the passage a 10 m pitch is undescended.
