Description
Rift understood Brown (2001.02.08 Mss; Laba Rift 8/2/1) and was let to believe Monkeys come out somewhere else in yet another unexplainable location somewhere (note 1) in the vicinity of Tongseng village (N25°19'28-: E92°30'05” WGS84) on the eastern side of the Shnongrim - Tangnub ridge. ETYMOLOGY: The Khasi ” torti” (adjective) means careless; not doing up to the mark (SINGH, N 1906: 235). POSITION: Mark W. Brown (2001.02.08, 12h26, ±12 m) read the disputable entrance coordinates N25°18'56.6”: E92°30'24.1” (according to one GPS reading 10 m south-east of Krem –>Laba) with a lousy precision at a distance of an estimated 30 m in an unexplainable direction from the cave entrance.
