An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) was said to give access to an unidenified cave called »Thangsadop« (Brian D. Kharpran Daly, Shillong, 1998.02.26, after Agnes Lakhiang & Milan Lamare, Moomyllian). ETYMOLOGY: Unknown (note 1). SITUATION: Unknown. In an unspecified setting and at an unidentified location somewhere in the vicinity of »Moomyllian« or Moolian, Mumyllian, Mulian, Muollian, etc, (note 2), a populated place (village) in the vicinity of the Jaintia Cement Works (25°20'45”N: 92°28'50”E) which stand near »Lamarsiang« (note 3) on the road that runs from Sutnga (25°22'05”N: 92°26'15”E: ca. 1000 m) generally east via Shnongrim (25°21'08”N: 92°31'04”E: 1140 m) to Nongkhlieh (25°21'02”N: 92°33'20”E: ca. 850 m). CAVE POTENTIAL: Agnes Lakhiang & Milan Lamare (1998.02.26) reported from the same vicinity the names of another two unidentified caves, that is to say Krem –>Bloin and Krem –>Synriaw.

NOTE 1: thang (Khasi; verb) to burn (OLDHAM, T 1859 / 1984 appendix C: lxiv); to burn, to cremate (SINGH, N 1906: 223); burn, deflagrate, enkindle, fire, light (SINGH, N 1920: 56, 112, 154, 180, 292); burn (BLAH, E 2007: 38). thang (Khasi; verb) in arrow shooting: to begin, commence (SINGH, N 1920: 41, 79).thang-sáw (Khasi; verb), binomial: thangsáw-tangsian (SINGH, N 1906: 223) to heat a thing till it is red-hot (SINGH, N 1906: 223). ka 'tang, an abbreviation of: ka ktang (Khasi; noun) a pipe (SINGH, N 1906: 218). sa (Khasi; particle) the sign of future tense, denoting contingency (SINGH, N 1906: 179). sa (Khasi; adverb) in the absence of any other better alternative (SINGH, N 1906: 179). sa (Khasi; prefix) to contract a disease, to be affected with (SINGH, N 1906: 178). sa (Khasi; suffix) peevishly, sulkily (SINGH, N 1906: 178). ka dop (Khasi; noun) a bark or layer, e.g. as of a plantain stem or bamboo (SINGH, N 1906: 72). NOTE 2: Moomyllian (Kharpran Daly, B D 1998.02.26) is perhaps the village indicated as »Molamliang« near (±250 m) 25°20'26”N: 92°28'22”E and southwest of Lamarsiang.
