A rift from surface commences as a vertical cave entrance, which is an estimated 5m x 1.5m Ø (without identified orientation) in size and gives access to where a shaft descends 10 m to a mud floor (Galloway 2010.02.11 Mss: 110 Shaft 110). IDENTITY: The nameless three further small cave entrances (Anonymous et al. 2010.03.29 Mss: Diary (current) 2010.doc) noticed on 9th February 2010 are probably identical with the nameless Umkyrpong Shafts … on GPS points from 9/2/10 noticed on 10th February 2010 (Anonymous et al. 2010.03.29 Mss: Diary (current) 2010.doc) which include the nameless Shaft 110 Anonymous et al. 2010.03.29 Mss: Diary (current) 2010.doc: 11th February)Shaft 110 110 Galloway (2010.02.11 Mss -Shaft 110 110- dated: II Feb 2010) Shaft 111 Anonymous et al. 2010.03.29 Mss: Diary (current) 2010.doc: 11th February) Shaft 111 111 Galloway (2010.02.11 Mss -Shaft 111 111- dated: II Feb 2010) SITUATION 2010.02.09: At an unidentified location (apparently somewhere in the catchment areaof the Umkyrpong river basin) and without specified spatial relation east of further south from where an unidentified and nameless the river ended upstream at Krem Denjem [sic!] (Anonymous et al. 2010.03.29 Mss: Diary (current) 2010.doc), which is Krem –>Dieng Jem. SITUATION 2010.02.10: Without identified spatial relation to the two other relatively small cave entrances B and D, currently renamed Umkyrpong Shafts and at an estimated distance of approximately 1 km east of the newly created village of Unkyrapong (sic!) which possibly is the good old village of Umkyrpong. CAVE DESCRIPTION: None reported. SPELEOMETRY: Out of the Umkyrpong Shafts two ended up once more renamed as Two shafts surveyed. Shaft 110 was 56 m long and 17 m deep, Shaft 111 was 31 m long and 11 m deep (Anonymous et al. 2010.03.29 Mss: Diary (current) 2010.doc).
