Description
A draughting pothole cave entrance without identified dimensions, shape or locally known name (if one exists) drops into a cave without any observed features or identified characteristics except sort of a canyon passage (Sheen 2003.02.15 Mss -Knee Wreck Pot / Cave 2 / Cave 3- dated 15/02/03). SITUATION: Below Lumthymmai village and on the western slope of the Shnongrim ridge or (Sheen 2003.02.15 Mss fully quoted) 100 M East 140° of waypoint through grykes to stream sink. Waypoint. ±10 N 25 21 56.4 E 092 31 01.9 El 1036 M Garmin Summit Roger Galloway. Already two days later, on 17th February 2003, recorded Roger Galloway an altitude of 1061 m asl which was gained by one single GPS reading. CAVE DESCRIPTION 1 (Sheen 2003.02.15 Mss): A canyon passage leads off downstream for 50 m to head of 15 m pot outdraghting strongly. CAVE DESCRIPTION 2 (JARRATT 2003): Knee-Wrecker Pot is one among other explored caves. CAVE CLIMATE: At an unspecified hour of the daySheen (2003.02.15 Mss) felt air curent outdraughting strongly.

Diengdoh and Roger Galloway descended and measured 193.39 m. 2003.02.18: R. Williams, S.A. Diengdoh, R. Galloway and Derek Pettiglio measured 313.89 m. 2003.02.19: R. Williams, S.A. Diengdoh, R. Galloway and D. Pettiglio measured 165.75 m. 2003.02.22: R. Williams and S.A. Diengdoh measured 136.63 m (total: 809.66 m).
