EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2005.02.21: 'Mendar' (Menda / Mende) Syih and 'Hyporme' (Heipormi Pajuh) guided Robin Sheen and Brian (either Brian 'Cowper' Cooper or Brian 'Mac' McCoitir) to the entrance. Brian Cotter descended (Sheen, Robin 2005.08.20 Mss) and had a first look: Robin went with Hyporme and Menda to the Manar area (old Shnongrim). Here there was an old hill fort (thought to be the old Jaintia capital). Nearby he found … two promising rift potholes (krem Umsutiang and Krem Lumjingtep) nearby (Brooks 2005 Mss: Meghalaya Diary.doc). 2005.02.26: BMc (Brian 'Mac' McCoitir), SAD (Shelley A. Diengdoh) and LY (Lesley Yuen) 'surveyed' 115.96 (probably meters, Brooks 2005.10.05 Mss: Meghalaya 2005 Survey Summary): Brian Mac, Shelley and Lesley rigged Krem Lumjingtep and Shelley pushed a squeeze at the end to a sump. They derigged and surveyed (Brooks 2005 Mss: Meghalaya Diary.doc). 2006.02.13: RS (probably Robin Sheen) visited (Arbenz, T 2005.02 Mss: Abstracts.xls).
