Location
This cave is in the grounds of a wat to the north of Plai Phraya. In Plai Phraya turn left just past the crossroads then left again after 2.5 km. The cave is signed from Ao Luek
Description
A stream resurges below the high cliffs. A few steps lead up to a dry entrance to one side of the resurgence. This upper, dry cave is a profusely decorated upper series and is run as a show cave. The upper series links with the streamway in two places. The tour ends at the end of the upper series with the stream seen to continue. The cave can suffer from severe flooding and most of the cave can be under water for several months. At these times monks will punt you across the lake to visit the first chamber. The monk at the wat has refused to give permission to allow cave diving at the site in January 2008. In Februray 2010 the cave was completely dry. Tham Prasat Nalakhring is a cave art and archaeological site and has great exploration potential.
Diving
The monk residing here will not allow any cave diving.
