Unspecified caves (natural caves or man-made rock chambers), which were used as troglodyte homes in the 1830ies by Hazara people at Ruyi / Habash (note 1), 25 km in a direct line north of Ruyi Doab (note 2), reported Reverend Joseph WOLFF (1835: 220) from Rohee (note 3) and FOUCHER (1924a: 157) from Roui (note 4). Compare –>Sum-i- Sangi and –>Hazarsum (Ruyi Doab). SITUATION (note 5): WOLFF (1835: 220) places his Rohee (Ruyi Habash) at a travelling distance of 24 English miles (estimated 39 km on horse-back approximately south) from Khoram (note 6) and 16 E. miles (estimated 26 km on horse-back approx. north) of Dooab (Ruyi Doab).
