Location
The cave is on Doi Chang in moo 6 Ban Huai Fai, about 30 km south-west of Lamphun and east of the H106 to amphoe Li. The cave is well signposted from the H106. At Ban San Pa Hak turn east on a newly surfaced road for 4.5 km, then turn right for another 7 km to the end of the road which is just past the ranger station. A good footpath leads to the cave entrance which is a few hundred metres to the south.
Description
There is an informative signboard with a map at the cave entrance. The cave is a relict, horizontal phreatic passage with some nice decoration. There is one section where the cave narrows and it is necessary to traverse past a small pool. Other than this short section the cave is about 10 m wide and 5 m high with a few oxbows and short side passages. At the end of the cave the dirt slope in the right hand branch has been ascended to a small, drafting hole. The left hand branch leads through a low wet section before becoming choked with flowstone.
