Description
Within a few minutes of the Resort [note 1] Angeline [Angeline Kharkongor] showed us three more sandstone boulder sinkholes [note 2] … Wah Rit (small stream) is a cave formed by a very recent collapse (this year 2003?). Needs another look -- vaguely promising (Jarratt 2003.03.02 Mss -Cave Log- entry 2003: 2/3/03). ETYMOLOGY: No locally known name has been identified for what had been christened -Small Stream Cave- and then was clothed into Khasi words. SITUATION: At an unknown location in an unidentified spatial relation to the solitary GPS position, which Jarratt (2003.03.02 Mss -Cave Log 2003- entry 2/3/03) recorded with an interesting precision error of ±18 m collectively for the eight distinct boulder sinkholes or cave entrances comprising not only the five distinct caves at the –>Riat Kroh but also for Krem Bret Bsian (Krem –>Bred Bseiñ), Krem Thepuit (Krem –>Thep Puid) and for Krem Wah Rit.Thus, the whole lot of these eight distinct cave entrances are said to occupy one and the ame place and space. This is possibly not the case.ame place and space. This is possibly not the case.
