Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 24/04/2016

An almost square shaped hole, about 4 m (WNW-ESE) by 8 m (SSW-NNE) wide, in generally northwest-sloping ground drops about 4 m vertically down to a recently formed cave floor, which is not only characterised by a rusty steel rope (about an inch in diameter) wedged between fallen debris and resulting from quarrying activities but also gives access to the high level cave passages of the Western Inlet of the –>Mawmluh Cave. SITUATION: About 145 m in a direct line approximately south-west (217°) from the main cave entrance (insurgence) of the Mawmluh Cave (±32 m N25°15'32”: E091°42'43”: circa 1320 m asl WGS84) but 9.45 vertical metres higher up.
