A -shaft entrance- (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions) was characterised in January 2015 by inducing in at least one expedition caver the feeling of needing an unspecified rope (Lindenmayr, F 2015.04.29 Mss: Anmerkungen und Ergänzungen). ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for what was neither entered nor explored but nevertheless was instantly believed to represent a -shaft entrance to the Kotsati cave- and then, months later, ended up reduced to -Ko2- (Lindenmayr, F 2015.04.29 Mss: Anmerkungen und Ergänzungen). SITUATION: Opposite across from where the road leaving the village of Lumshnong southwards meets the National Highway NH44 (Lindenmayr, F 2015.04.29 Mss: Anmerkungen und Ergänzungen). POSITION: Lindenmayr had marked the acronym -Ko2- near (±250 m) 25°10'33.5”N: 92°22'31.5”E on the copy of a wide angle photograph of a computer screen displaying a satellite view of Lumshnong as it was provided one day in late April 201 by Google Maps (Lindenmayr, F 2015.04.29 Mss -Anmerkungen und Ergänzungen- + Google Maps accessed 2015.05.01). CAVE DESCRIPTION: A shaft entrance where expedition cavers can exercise not only to need but also to lack a rope for a controlled descent in view of ascending back up again (note 1). PROSPECTS: This shaft entrance seems to lie above so-called -side-legs- (fully undescribed and with unidentified topographical features but potentially confused), which Antony -Tony- Boycott, Simon J. Brooks, and Anthony -Tony- R Jarratt had surveyed on 16th February 1997 to link the downstream part of Krem –>Umshor to Krem –>Put Lyer in the uppermost reaches of Krem –>Umlawan. by Google Maps (Lindenmayr, F 2015.04.29 Mss -Anmerkungen und Ergänzungen- + Google Maps accessed 2015.05.01).
