Description

Martin Ellis - 14/09/2019

The cave consists of one large, round chamber breached at its southern end by the main entrance. Quickly climbing up over large breakdown and flowstone reaches the back of the chamber. A second entrance enters the cave via a pitch of c.40m into the roof. A large column is prominent in the centre of the cave. Moving around and behind and to the left of this reaches a 3m climb to a small side aven/chamber. This houses a small colony of bats which are very small and could be Kitti's Hog-nosed Bat, but they were not positively identified.
