Description
What Brooks evaluated an earth choked pot (blind) fully explored recorded Arbenz, T (2006.05.21 Mss: Abstracts.xls after McNally & Pacey) as a 6 m deep blind shaft. SITUATION 1 (McNally 2006.02.09 Mss: Krem Pastor 6): At an unspecified location somewhere on the SE slopes of Lum Manar, Shnongrim [sic! for: Old Shnongrim, near N25°20'44”: E092°31'58-: 1014 m] and in an unidentified spatial relation to the other caves called Krem Pastor in the same area. SITUATION 2 (Brooks 2006 undated Mss amendments to McNally 2006.02.09 Mss: Krem Pastor 6): Syrnun area, at above GPS point and in an unspecified spatial relation to the other caves called Krem Pastor in the same area. SITUATION 3 (Jarratt 2006.03.04 Mss: Cave Log, vol. XIII: 9/2/06): At an unspecified location somewhere on the wooded SE face of Lum Manar and in an unidentified spatial relation to the other caves called Krem Pastor in the same area. SITUATION 4: According to the GPS position lies Krem Pastor 6 at an unextedly large liear distance of about 263.7 m a bit west by north from the first Krem Pastor but 33 m higher up and 114 m approximately north by east of Krem Pastor 5 but 14 m higher up. CAVE DESCRIPTION 1: McNally (2006.02.09 Mss: Krem Pastor 6) identified no cave entrance, shape, dimensions, character or peculiarities but reported to have mastered a 6 m sloping climb at base of rocky face choked with mud at bottom [probably the pot, not the explorer]. CAVE DESCRIPTION 2: Jarratt (2006.03.04 Mss: Cave Log, vol. XIII: 10/2/06) adds considerable details with explaining that some of the caves named in honour of the Pastor (who?) failed to drop into big cave. CAVE DESCRIPTION 3 (ANONYMOUS Brown et al. 2006): Krem Pastor 6, a 6 m climb down to blind alcoves at the bottom.
Histoire
EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2006.02.09: Evermore Sukhlain guided Anthony 'Tony' R Jarratt and Neil Pacey to the entrance of what they recorded under the title Krem Pastor 6. JARRATT (2006: 7) confirms that his favourite Shnongrim cow boy, Evermore, pointed out 11 new sites. Many of these were dropped on the 10th . 2006.02.10: Desmond 'Des' McNally (2006.02.09 Mss: Krem Pastor 6) nicely describes, literally quoted, how this cave was visited by Des McNally, Neil Pacy [sic! for: Pacey], Henry Rockcliff finished --hopefully not the visitors but the visit. Jarratt (2006.03.04 Mss: Cave Log, vol. XIII: 10/2/06) adds that The others [including Desmond 'Des' McNally and Neil Pacey] dropped some of the Pastors without describing how the poor lads took such a treatment —it might have depended on into what they were dropped. ANONYMOUS (Brown et al. 2006): Friday 10th February … Neil, Des and Henry went to … Krem Pastor 6.
