Description
An estimated 20 m high cave entrance (unspecified width, unidentified orientation) gives access to an interstratal cave passage with fluted shafts, which are not only much scarred by karstification processes and feature needlepointed spitzkarren but also provide a formidable training device for honing one's skill of absurd clambering (note 1). ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for what was not only christened Fakir Cave but also alientated as a Pseudokhasi Krem Fakir (Scherzer, H 2015.04.01 Mss -Tagebuch- Fr. 09.01.2015) due to the cave's tortuous interior design which could serve even a demanding Anglo-Arabic Fakir (note 2) or Khasi Pukir (note 3) to rub himself over the knuckles.SITUATION: In a setting where a platform occurs north of an east-west running path (Scherzer, H 2015.04.01 Mss). The GPS position 25°12'03.6”N: 92°23'54.6”E: 644 m for Krem Fakir (Scherzer, H 2015.04.01 Mss).
