From Loei take the H201 north for about 7km and then turn west onto the H2115 towards Tha Li. Opposite the school in Ban Nam Phu there is a turning to the north. The road goes through an arch into the wat grounds. From the entrance to Tham Pha Pu take the concrete stairs to the north and then some metal and wooden steps up to the platform. The entrance is about 15m wide and 20m high and is visible from the car park. The entrance has a large wooden platform and a wooden shack. At the back the platform extends along a rift into a small alcove with a Buddha. At the bottom of the steps there is another shack and concrete meditation walkway and a Buddha's footprint.
