Description
A cave entrance without identified shape, dimensions and noticed characteristics was understood to give the impression of resembling something along the lines of a large open pot (Sheen 2002.02.22 Mss: Krem Krang Maw 2) without a lid. SITUATION: In the Krang area on the eastern slope of the Shnongrim Ridge and about 20 m approximately north-west of Krem –>Krang Maw n°1 (Sheen 2002.02.22 Mss) and hence at the very spot where Krem Krang Mu n°0 (zero) has been GPS positioned. About 60 m due north of Krem –>Krang Maw 1 (according to the recorded GPS positions) and hence at the very spot where Krem –>Wah Mupud has been GPS positioned. POSITION 2002a: N25°20'40.9-: E92°30'25.3- (±9 m, Laumanns 2002.02.16): 1108 m asl (GPS Garmin 12)POSITION 2002b: N25°20'41.2-: E92°30'24.9- (±12 m, Sheen 2002.02.22, Garmin Etrex).CAVE DESCRIPTION: Obviously similar as Krem – Krang Moo n°1 and possibly identical: Down through west wall of open pot into a rift and then through large boulder choke. Mak way on down east wall of choke to enter a large rift chamber requiring tackle (handlines, 10 m ladder) to descend (Sheen, R F 2002.02.22 Mss: Krem Krang Maw 2). PROSPECTS: As early as February 2002, Robin F. Sheen (2002.02.22 Mss: Krem Krang Maw 2) considered the prospects of this obviously large open pot to be good to a degree that he never ever came back it.
