The second of two natural rift caves in upheaved breccia with quartzose rock intermixed found KITTOE (1838a: 436) on 11th March 1838 to be choked up with rubbish. SITUATION (KITTOE 1838a: 436): In the eastern or southern declivity beneath the Mahadeva temple (Shiva mandir) on the hill Aswastama (note 1) near the village of Dhowlee (note 2) above the banks of the river Dyah (in Cuttack or in Puri district?).The second of two natural rift caves in upheaved breccia with quartzose rock intermixed found KITTOE (1838a: 436) on 11th March 1838 to be choked up with rubbish.
