FEYZABAD (Cave at)

A small, -collapsed- talus cave without known name (note 1) in gravitationally dislocated granite boulders is said to be situated somewhere at a distance of 15 or 20 km south of Feyzabad (note 2). CAVE DESCRIPTION: The cave consists of a daylight lit ante-chamber (3 by 3 m) in front of a small dark chamber (3 by 2.5 m wide, 1.7 m high) with impenetrable continuations. CAVE CLIMATE: On 15th July 1959 this cave was very cold but the temperature was not measured. CAVE LIFE: LINDBERG (1961a: 27) lists Vermes: Annelides: Oligochaeta terest.: Allolobophora caliginosa Savigny (determined by OMODEO 1959); Myriapoda: Diplopoda: 2 female Bollmania sp. indet, determined by H.
