Description
A comparatively small (sic!) cave entrance without identified size or shape (note 1) appears not only to take a seasonal stream but also allows negotiating a series of adjacent shafts averaging 3 m by 4 m in width which eventually descend down to a base at 108 m depth (Sheen 2005.02.11 Mss: Lynkha 2) that sometimes looks like a a stony base (Sheen 2005.02.11 Mss: Lynkha 2) or a stone choke (Arbenz, T 2005.02 Mss: Abstracts.xls) but at other times like a sand fill (Brooks 2005 Mss: Meghalaya Diary 2005.02.12) with no way on. SITUATION 1: 40 m N/E of Lyngkha 1 (Sheen 2005.02.11 Mss: Location). SITUATION 2: 6 m due north of Lynkha 1 (Sheen 2005.02.11 Mss: GPS position).A comparatively small (sic!) cave entrance without identified size or shape (note 1) appears not only to take a seasonal stream but also allows negotiating a series of adjacent shafts averaging 3 m by 4 m in width which eventually descend down to a base at 108 m depth (Sheen 2005.02.11 Mss: Lynkha 2) that sometimes looks like a a stony base (Sheen 2005.02.11 Mss: Lynkha 2) or a stone choke (Arbenz, T 2005.02 Mss: Abstracts.xls) but at other times like a sand fill (Brooks 2005 Mss: Meghalaya Diary 2005.02.12) with no way on.
