Description
Man-made Buddhist 'cave temples' (rock-cut chambers) formerly used for religious purposes and currently managed by the ASI (Archaeological Survey of India), Jaipur Circle, are situated (IMPERIAL GAZETTEER 1907-1909, 11: 283) at Kholvi (note 1), a village which lies somewhere within a circle of 20 miles (about 30 km or so) from –>Dhamnar (24°11'N: 75°30'E) but in Jhalawar (town near 24°36'N: 76°09'E).
