EXPLORATION HISTORY: 1821 August: Alexander Gerard (edited by COLEBROOKE 1827: 375) and his bother James Gilbert Gerard, seeing their baggage hauled across the Sutlej, stayed till three o'clock p.m. in a large cave at 'Wangto' (Wangtu).
