Location
From the H107 in Chai Prakan take the road which goes up to Ban Sin Chai (which is signed to Doi Ang Khang). In the Chinese village of Ban Mai Nong Bua head north and the temple is 2 km from the village.
Description
Tham Pha Phueng consist of a single large chamber approximately 20 m across, extending back into the cliff face. There is a large Buddhist shrine at its far end. A tube to the right climbs into the roof of the main chamber. It appears to be nothing more than a large solutional alcove at the base of a steep cliff. In the temple grounds there are several doors set back into the cliff.
