Description
The second of initially five or several shafts and later another four of which the sight of the cave entrances had been looked at has been identified as a kind of a shaft (Brooks (2010.02.18 Mss: Krem Lum Lakham 2). SITUATION 1: Brooks, S J (2010.02.18 Mss: Krem Lum Lakham 2) leaves understanding the whereabouts of the second Krem Lum Lakham up to you. SITUATION 2: Anonymous et al. (2010.03.29 Mss: Diary (current) 2010.doc: 18th February) places the five several shafts collectively to the North West of nowhere special and without identified spatial relation to each other. SITUATION 3: Arbenz, T (2010.03.31 cave distribution map: Pala_Ridge_4-10.pdf) indicates the location of the cave entrance to Krem Lum Lakham 2 near (±15 m) N25°26'14.5”: E092°35'26.5” (WGS84) and adjacent south-west to the cave entrance to Krem Lum Lakham 3 (N25°26'15.0”: E092°35'26.0”: 845 m asl WGS84) and thus 1150 m in a direct line north by east (325 m north, 1100 m east) from from the central road juncton in the village of Umkyrpong (25°26'04”N: 92°34'47”E) and at linear distances of 110 m SSW from the cave entrance to Krem Lum Lakham 1 (N25°26'18”: E092°35'27”: 839 m asl WGS84) and 250 m ESE from the cave entrance to Krem Lakham (N25°26'19”: E092°35'19”: 839 m asl WGS84). CAVE DESCRIPTION 2010: Brooks, S J (2010.02.18 Mss: Krem Lum Lakham 2) noticed a sports caving device which allows to train negotiating a descent 8 m deep down to a kind of a flat foor (sic!), four (?) or floor (?) on which one can train facing the possibility of no way on. CAVE DESCRIPTION 2012: 8 m shaft with flat floor - no way on (Arbenz, T 2012.07.20 undated Meghalaya cave record ”Krem Lum Lakham 3” in: XSObjectsPala.doc).
Histoire
EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2010.02.18: Hesrowin Lamurong and Koles Lamare guided Ksan Kupar 'Ronnie' Mawlong (interpreter), Erfan Fekri and Simon J. Brooks to the offhand created but unspecified Sintung Area to the North West of [nowhere special] for reconnaissance. Several shafts were located [sic! qua: looked at] including Krem Sintung [sic!] 1 and 2, Krem Lakham and Krem Lumlakham 1 and 2 (Anonymous et al. 2010.03.29 Mss: Diary (current) 2010.doc: 18th February). Arbenz, T (2012.07.20 Meghalaya cave record ” 2012.07.20” Krem Lum Lakham 3= XSObjectsPala.doc) suggests 8m shaft with flat floor - no way on. Entered by D.Pettiglio but Derek Pettiglio had joined on 18th February 2010 Mark, Hellie and Andy to push side passages in the upstream section of Krem Dienjem (Anonymous et al. 2010.03.29 Mss: Diary (current) 2010.doc: 18th February).
