After passing a large Chinese cemetary on the right and some sand and cement sites Wat Ban Tham is on the right about 5-6km from the sharp right turn. There is a long flight of steps up to the cave entrance that has been built to look like the mouth of a dragon.
Description
The cave is a large chamber containing a 5.5m high Buddha, said to be over 500 years old which is worth a visit just for touristic reasons. Going into the cave, on the right, are steep steel steps leading up to a higher entrance.
