Description
An estimated 20 m long section of »unroofed canyon passage« or bogaz (note 1) needs tackle to be entered and lies on the south side of the track and opposite across from a cave entrance to Cat Cave 2 to which it may connect (A. Boycott 1999.02.05 personal communication).
NOTE 1: Bogaz -- »Large linear fissure or box valley through a karst block, effectively a giant grike… formed by dissolution on a fault or joint in very massive limestone …« (LOWE & WALTHAM 1995: 6). Bogaz -- »A long narrow chasm enlarged by solution of the limestone …« (MONROE, W H 1970 / 1972: 3).
