Location
On the eastern end of the Doi Luang Chiang Dao summit plateau. On the right side of the lower path, about 30 m before the camping field located on the highest ridge on the massif, is a deep karst doline 5 m deep and 8 m in diameter. At the bottom of the doline is a hole on a bearing of 200¦, and with the dimensions of 0.4 x 1 m.
Description
The shaft has two entrances which open into a P27 pitch. The cave is a shaft of irregular shape, extending downwards. At a depth of 8 m in the southern wall there is a narrow window, beyond which there is a tapering descending shaft. The bottom of the shaft is sloping, covered with rubble and clay. At its eastern end is a hole approximately 15 cm wide, which provides a continuation of the shaft. The walls of the shaft are covered with cave popcorn and curtains. Spiders and bats were observed in the cave.
