Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 06/01/2018

There are ouvertures bouchées (plugged cave entrances) to man-made undergrounds (note 1) at a fortress / castle which LINDBERG (1962a: 8) called Kafir Qal`eh (note 2) and placed at a distance of 1 km (probably along the road) -north- (more likely: north-east) of Tirin Kot / Wanu (note 3) and at the side of the road to Orozgan (note 4). Visible on top of the hill, which governs the surrounding plain, are big and strong walls of a fortified settlement in ruins (note 5).There are ouvertures bouchées (plugged cave entrances) to man-made undergrounds (note 1) at a fortress / castle which LINDBERG (1962a: 8) called Kafir Qal`eh (note 2) and placed at a distance of 1 km (probably along the road) -north- (more likely: north-east) of Tirin Kot / Wanu (note 3) and at the side of the road to Orozgan (note 4).
