Location
The cave is in a temple located 750m west of the H106 in Ban Phai. The entrance is up about 50 steps from the temple buildings.
Description
The entrance descends into a passage that has been heavily developed and has three large Buddhas at the end. The way on from the Buddhas is via a smaller passage on the right which descends and then opens into a large chamber. Straight ahead some steps lead up to a concrete terrace with Buddha statues while to the left there is a skylight in the centre of the chamber and a large tiled area with Buddhas. At the end of the chamber, beyond the skylight, there is a passage on the left that passes a concrete enclose with a Buddha before ending after 50m. Back at the end of the chamber with the skylight there is also a passage to the right. This soon reaches a cross junction. Right goes past three standing Buddhas before becoming low, while left descends into a mud floor phreatic passage that soon ends in both directions. Straight on at the cross junction leads past a couple of Buddhas and then ends below an aven. A few low passages in this area have not been explored.
