Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 06/01/2018

What was understood to consist of a roughly 20 m rifty poth ole in stream at me bottom (Audsley & Brown 2006.02.19 Mss) interpretes Brooks (2006 undated Mss amendments to Audsley & Brown 2006.02.19 Mss) as a 20 m rift pothole that intersects a well decorated stream passage where the latter is probably not decorated with medals but with speleothems and gives access to chokes that where discovered at a distance of 65 m (JARRATT 2006: 15) or 93.86 m (JARRATT 2006: 21) from the cave entrance. ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known cave name has been identified for what has been christened People-eating lapiaz pot (Audsley & Brown undated 2006.02.19 Mss) People Eating Pot (Brooks, S J undated circa 2006.10.31 Mss amendment to Audsley & Brown undated 2006.02.19 Mss: People-Eating Lapiaz Pot) Krem Gerald Hubmayr (Brooks, S J undated circa 2006.10.31 Mss amendment to Audsley & Brown undated 2006.02.19 Mss: People-Eating Lapiaz Pot) Gerald Hubmayr Höhle (Ludwig, P 2006.12.13 ersonal correspondence). SITUATION: At an unidentified location and in an unspecified spatial relation near to side of track that runs downhill from Tangnub village (Brooks, S J undated circa 2006.10.31 Mss amendment to Audsley & Brown undated 2006.02.19 Mss: People-Eating Lapiaz Pot) or simply in every imaginable direction down from Tangnub (Audsley & Brown 2006.02.19 Mss). CAVE DESCRIPTION: None reported. Brooks, S J (2006 undated Mss amendments to Audsley & Brown 2006.02.19 Mss) remembers to have been told about a 20 m deep pothole enters streamway, 30 m of which is well decorated while Audsley & Brown (2006.02.19 Mss) humbug with referring to a bogus survey they never ever considered to attempt trying to manage (note 1). CAVE CONTENTS: Audsley & Brown (2006.02.19 Mss) totally failed to observe any cave contents whatsoever. Brooks (2006 undated Mss amendments to Audsley & Brown 2006.02.19 Mss) somehow had heard about unspecified calcite formations (speleothems). CULTURAL HISTORY: Books (2006 undated Mss amendments to Audsley & Brown 2006.02.19 Mss) points out that no cultural relevance has become known or was recorded despite the cave name Gerald Hubmayr Höhle (note 2). TACKLE: Audsley & Brown (2006.02.19 Mss) neglected recording what kind of tackle is required but Brooks (2006 undated Mss amendments to Audsley & Brown 2006.02.19 Mss) somehow learned that 25 m of rope and belays are necessar to rig the cave. CAVE POTENTIAL: Unknown. Audsley & Brown (2006.02.19 Mss) forgot locating and explaining possible continuations. Brooks, S J (2006 undated Mss: Amendments to Audsley & Brown 2006.02.19 Mss) has never ever been anywhere close to this cave but anyhow decided that the outlook is poor and the prospects of extending the known part of the cave are minimal as the passage is reputed to be choked.ooks (2006 undated Mss amendments to Audsley & Brown 2006.02.19 Mss) points out that no cultural relevance has become known or was recorded despite the cave name Gerald Hubmayr Höhle (note 2).
