Length 100m Depth 0m
Location
2km south-west of Mae Sai town. From Tham Pha Dtak turn south on a dirt track for 300m to the next limestone outcrop. The cave entrance is at the top of a long flight of steps on the east side of the hill.
Description
The entrance is reached by a steep climb up a flight of 215 steps. The main chamber has three openings which light up a glowing golden chedi and a large reclining Buddha statue beneath a graceful canopy, surrounded by miniature figures. Red lanterns suspended on poles lend a Chinese touch to the scene. A level passage behind the chedi leads to a small exit on the other side of the mountain after 100 m.
