Location
The cave is visible from the H323 25.2 km south-east of Sangkhla Buri. Leaving from the bridge, follow the highway for a distance of 200 m in the direction of Thong Pha Phum. Take on the left a track which immediately crosses a small stream. Continue along the track. Pass through a banana plantation and reach a small stream. One passes several bamboo houses and crosses the river to reach the porch. From the H323 it is about 800 m, a 5 min walk.
Description
A small passage leads after a squeeze to a small active streamway where progress is stopped going upstream by a narrow sump which is probably passable in the dry season. The sump has depigmented white fish. Going downstream the water disappears at the bottom of a rift which quickly becomes impenetrable. The guides used by the French expedition said that beyond the sump one reaches a chamber which communicates with another cave. Seasonal sump.

History
Six people (4 men and 2 women) were killed by bad air on 23 July 2000 when looking for the fabled Japanese gold. This search became a farce in 2001 and still continues to attract treasure seekers.
