Description
The smaller [pothole cave entrance] to the east is 1 m square at the top and possibly 30 m deep, also belling out at depth (Chapman 2001.02.06 Mss: Umladong 1 (eastern) 6/2/2001). SITUATION: At an unidentified distance approximately east of the first Krem –>Umladong. CAVE CLIMATE -- outward air current: At unknown times both caves emit strong warm draughts creating columns of steam (Chapman, T 2001.02.06 Mss: Umladong 1 (western) 6/2/2001).

EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2001.02.06: Nokin Dkhar from Shongpnar told the cave name Krem Umladong (or so) to Allard Harris Diengdoh and Tom Chapman. Dilbahadur (Dil Bahadur) Subedi and Kunga Darna (both from Hadem / Thlangmoi village and of the Mizo dialect speaking Beite / Paite tribe) guided them to the entrance.
