Location

Turn off the main road 1.5 km west of Mae Sai town, just after the local police station and a few hundred metres before immigration. Cross over the canal and continue straight on towards a prominent rock outcrop on the edge of town. The cave is in the grounds of a small temple at the base of the outcrop. Martin Ellis - 10/08/2019

Tham Pha Dtak consists of a pair of vertical rifts in an isolated limestone tower in the middle of a temple on the outskirts of Mae Sai. Each of the rifts has a concrete floor and a small shrine with a golden Buddha at the end.
