Description

Martin Ellis - 25/07/2019

In front of the car park are about 50 steps up to the main cave. First part of the system is a big labyrinth cave, and second is a chain of big collapse pits connected with passages. The cave is rather extensive with steps for all steep sections. Entrance to the labirynth cave is located inside temple building upstairs. There are at least two main passages - to the right and to the left from the Buddha statue. We reached only right passage which is open for visiting and about 500 m length. There are openings in the side of the mountain not accessible through the right passage. There are many stalactites of different shapes and sizes as well as other limestone decorations. The cave is fitted for excursions by cemented floor and stepways amd there is electrical lightning. To the left from car parking there is an entrance to a tunnel of about 50 m length leading to the first collapse pit. Many openings are seen in its walls. There are temple structures on the far side of the pit. To the left from these structures you can find a small entrance to another tunnel which leads to second collapse pit.
