Location
The cave is in Phu Khao Tham Rap Ror (or Phu Khao Phra) in moo 4 Ban Tha Kham, about 10km north of Chumphon. Located in Tambon Tha Kharm about 20km north of Chumphon Town. Take Highway 4 for about 15km til you reach the turning for Ban Rap Ro. Take this road to the left and continue along it till you reach Wat Thap Charoen (also known as Wat Rubror) where the cave is located. The cave is well signposted from Highway 4. There are about 14 caves in the towers near Wat Thep Charoen.
Description
Many of the caves in Chumphon require a long climb to the entrance, however Rub Ror Cave is easy access with no more than 50 steps (most under the shade of trees). Tham Rap Ro has been redeveloped by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. It has a wide entrance that leads to well decorated chambers, cave paintings and a Buddha.
