Description

Martin Ellis - 18/08/2019

The roomy 70 x 10 x 5 m high chamber lit by the afternoon sun contains a monk's living quarters and a row of columns. At the rear of the chamber the passage narrows and descends to crawling size and can be followed at least another 100 m to a depth of 14m below the entrance. The cave appears to be an old resurgence.
