An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to a certain Krem Blang, (a.k.a. Krem Remblang) a relic cave (Anonymous 2012.03.10 Mss: Meghalaya 2012 Team 2 Diary, entry for Sunday 19th February 2012). ETYMOLOGY: The Khasi cave name -Krem Blang- seems to translate as Cave [of the] Goat or Goat Cave (note 1) and -Krem Rangblang- is a Cave [of the] He-goat or Billy-Goat Cave (note 2). The strange interpretation Krem Remblang (AKA Blang) (Anonymous 2012.03.10 Mss: Meghalaya 2012 Team 2 Diary, entries for Sunday 19th February 2012, Tuesday 21st February 2012) may have been inadvertently created as the Khasi -remblang- would be the word for a defeated, guilty or offended goat, and, last but not least, [my] dear goat regarded with deep affection; cherished by someone (note 3).
