Description

Two large parallel rifts, allegedly several hundred metres (no size mentioned) in length and of unknown depth, decided Brooks (2000.10.15 Mss) to have appeared after an earthquake in 1999. SITUATION: According to Brooks (2000.10.15 Mss), both rifts are visible on the hillside of a so-called Gazak Kork (note 1), which is said to lie some 1.5 to 2 km on a bearing of 120° (about east-southeast) from one Gazak Levy Post (without recorded GPS position), which is not identified but said to lie at unspecified distances south (more likely: south-west) of Johan (N29°20': E66°58') on a route towards Kalat (N29°02': E66°35').Two large parallel rifts, allegedly several hundred metres (no size mentioned) in length and of unknown depth, decided Brooks (2000.10.15 Mss) to have appeared after an earthquake in 1999.
