Mutanda zone, Buzi district, Sofala province. GPS (WGS84) S 19°55'13,9" / E 34°07'366". ca. 120 m asl. Surveyed on 26 Aug. 1999 by Artur Fernandes, Michael Laumanns and Jens Römer (BCRA-Grade 4b). Length: 35,00 m. Vertical range:0 m. The entrance of this cave is situated just 30 m SW of Mutanda Francisco No. 1 in a shallow collapse doline.
Description
A wide spanned portal gives access to a narrow rock shelter with two crawls at each end. Both crawls end after a few metres. Phreatic speleogenesis is obvious. Mutanda Francisco No. 2 contains some pretty but small calcite formations. No bats. No evidence of conglomerate infillings.
