A railway tunnel on the historic Kalka [note 1] - Shimla [note 2] track (SAIKIA, U et al. 2011: 1642). SITUATION: About 10 km away from Barog [note 3] (SAIKIA, U et al. 2011: 1642). CAVE LIFE -- Chiroptera: Vespertilionidae: Miniopterus schreibesrsii (Kuhl, 1819), Schreiber’s Long Fingered Bat, … was also observed roosting in another railway tunnel about 10 km away from Barog, where they were seen inside holes in the walls in groups of 4-5. In this case, both male and female specimens were collected from the same hole. Of the six individuals examined, five had a dark brown dorsal pelage with a lighter venter.
