Description
A karst spring yielding 50 lps report ADYALKAR & RADHAKRISHNA (1972: 136) to rise from dolomitic Jagdalpur Limestone (Indravati Series, Purana Group), is located in a low topographic area and rises from about half a dozen orifices in a bowl-shaped depression, up to 75 metres in diameter and 3 to 5 m deep.SITUATION: At the village Malgam, which lies above the right (northern) bank of Indravati river at a distance of about 5 km north-east of Jagdalpur (N19°04': E82°02').
