In an unspecified setting at the difficult to reconstruct location Tamil Nadu, District North Arcot, Tirumalai (IAR 1979-80 / 1983: 69) where the District North Arcot is currently the Vellore district (India Road Atlas, Eicher Goodearth 2006: 112, 113) in Tamil Nadu state whilst the sacred hill -Tirumala- or Tirumalai (note 1) is just within the Chittore district, Andhra Pradesh, . CULTURAL HISTORY -- rock art: The paintings are in red (IAR 1979-80 / 1983: 69).
