Description
Four »rock shelters« or, perhaps, true caves with paintings (rock art). IDENTITY: Compare the –>Ram-Chhajja rock shelters (Indian Archaeology: A Review [IAR] 1982-83 / 1985: 39) »nearly 3 km south-west« from Raisen on the road to Bhopal. SITUATION 1967: From Raisen (town 23°20'N: 77°48'E) about 5 km (approximately west-southwest) on the road to Bhopal (23°16'N: 77°24'E) at »Ramachhajja« on the right bank of the nala (stream, streambed) called »Reecham nullah« (GOSH, A K 1967: 14).
