The suspiciously named monastery »Dechenphuk« (note 1) or »Dichephuk Dzong« (note 2) is said to lie »in a beautiful side valley about 3 miles [some 5 km approximately north] from Tashi-cho-jong« (WHITE 1909 edited 1984: 177) or »Tashichho Dzong« and »Tashi Cho Dzong« (note 3).
NOTE 1: The Tibetan "bDe Chen Phug" translates as »Cave of Great Happiness« or »Great Luck Cave.« NOTE 2: »Dechenphuk« (WHITE 1909 edited 1984: 177) is indicated as »Dichephuk Dzong« near (±2.5 km) N27°32’: E089°37’30” on AMS sheet NG45_04 Phari Dzong, U502 series, edition 1963).
