Description
Two cave entrances at both ends of a 25 m long rift cave give access to a solitary cave passage (with a third cave entrance in the middle) aligned parallel to the hillside. Fallen rocks (breakdown) block possible continuations into the depth. SITUATION: At the pilgrimage site –>Halesi / Maratika, and about 200 m in an unspecified direction from –>Maratika (Shiva Mandir Gufa). The main cave entrance lies about 5 m above the path and is easily seen despite of prolific vegetation (SCHERZER 1992: 5).
