Description
About 10 m from the track in dense vegetation. This cave consisted of two rooms. The first is 6 by 6 m. The second is 5 by 4 m, entered by a 3 m climb down from the first room. It contained the best formations [speleothems] I had seen in any cave in Nepal. Absolutely bursting with stalactites and flowstone. … the floor of the first room was mudied, so no harm was done here, and nobody entered the second room as it was too difficult (PICKERING 1995a: 3). SITUATION: Somewhere in the vicinity of a certain Mulpani (PICKERING 1995a), literally -source [of] water- and, allegedly, the name of a village in Tanahun district.
