Location
The "Prophet's Cave" (STEIN 1988) or rock shelter is a temple cave sacred to Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava and said to be situated below the bridge across the Lungten Tsangpo at Thimpu. In the 13th century, the founder of Bhutanese Buddhism is said to have spend the first night with his future wife in the cave.
