Description
A relatively small (0.5 by 1 m) but otherwise unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified orientation, unidentified peculiar characteristics) is said to give access to an unspecified cave south of a junction where road turn up to Nongtalang (anonymous Boyes, P W 2000.02.18 Mss: -K3 (K4 ,K5 and K6)- dated 18/2/00 revised 21|4|00; Boyes, P W 2000.07.21 personal correspondence; Lizzie [Elizabeth] Elvidge 2000.02.18 Mss -K3, K4 ,K5 and K6- dated 18/2/00)- dated 18/2/00; BOYES, P W 2000 s.a.: 4, 8). SITUATION: Adjacent and to the south of the road from Jowai to Dauki, and east of the road to Nongtalang, at a distance of some 2 km as the crow flies west-north- west of Nongtalang town and about 0.7 km in a direct line north-west from the Inspection Bungalow (WILKINSON undated, circa 2000: -Sketch map showing the caves of Nongtalang-, square coordinate grid without geodetic datum, no scale, undefined magnetic? or geographic? north arrow, apparently compiled from GPS readings).APPROACH: K6 can be found south of 'T' junction were road turn up to Nongtalang (Elvidge, E 2000.04.21 Mss: -K3 (K4 ,K5 and K6)- dated 18/2/00 revised 21/4/00) CAVE DESCRIPTION 2000a: One in a group of small entrances (0.5 x 1 m) (Elvidge, E 2000.02.18 Mss -K3, K4 ,K5 and K6- dated 18/2/00).
