An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) was said to give access to an unspecified cave (Kharpran Daly, B D 2014.01.11 Mss) which at an advanced stage of rapid cave visiting was interpreted as an unspecified sandstone arch (anonymous Brooks, S J et al. 2014.04.05 Mss) with knowable dimensions but rather is a one-side niche of unspecified size which the water of the Myntdu eroded due lateral fluvial abrasion of Kopili Alternations (MATHUR & EVANS 1964: 13) a.k.a. Kopili Stage of youngest Eocene age (MATHUR & EVANS 1964: 13). ETYMOLOGY: The meaning and origin of the recorded cave name Krem Chki (Kharpran Daly, B D 2014.01.11 Mss) has not been identified (note 1). EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2014.01.10: Brian Dermot Kharpran Daly had collected a few [eight] cave names during the half hour I had with [an unidentified] the headman (no name mentioned) at Kharkhana village [N25°09': E092°13']: Krem Lymbiat, Krem Blah, Krem Ryngkoh, Krem Khlaw Am, Krem Katdin. Thangsah village: Krem Um War. Pasadwar village: Krem Chki. Khlaw Prang: Krem Synrung (big river cave?). Lama village: caves there too (Kharpran Daly, B D 2014.01.11 Mss). 2014.02.17: An unidentified caving instructor at Pasadwar guided Brian D Kharpran Daly, Barbara 'Boesch' Bösch, Michel 'Boesch' Bösch, Oana Chachula, David 'Cookie' Cooke, Marcel Dikstra, Peter Ludwig, Des McNally, and Tudor Tamsa to the beach where they were shown a so-called sandstone arch presumably Krem Chki, said to be a silted up cave, which they doubted. Further inquiries produced another possible cave [Krem –>Chki, Pasadwar, 2nd] a 10 minute boat trip down the river (anonymous Brooks, S J et al. 2014.04.05 Ms: Diary Meghalaya 2014 Second Edit: 17th February, Monday).
